In response to climate change and the need for Action
The product brief was to make first steps towards a more ethical production process for their footwear range.
In an ongoing attempt to work towards a more ethical business module, research and development into a more environmentally conscious manufacturing process took place on an iconic Mallet sneaker. The final product used a variety of recycled materials as components of the shoe, with the leathers ethically sourced.
Designed to be a 360 degree program with consumers able to bring the sneakers back at the end of their lifespan, where they would be put back through the system to create another sneaker.
